On January 30th, SAP UA host an academic workshop at Donghua University in Shanghai. Dr. Felix Tan, lecturer of School of Business, The University of New South Wales (UNSW), paid his special visit to Shanghai and conducted this workshop. Total 14 professors from 6 universities in Shanghai attend this workshop. Most of the attending universities are newly joined SAP UA, and full of question on how to run course and research better with SAP offerings.
The workshop started with the knowledge sharing session that Dr.Felix shared a lot of very useful experience of SAP ERP, BI and Design Thinking. Specifically the blended approach known as "Flipped Classroom", in which students learn content at home before class and discussing and solving questions with teachers and students in class. Dr. Felix also shared his curriculum for Lumira workshop to all the other professors, which is very valuable for helping the newly-joined faculties start their teaching in BI using SAP Lumira. The next session is the Exchanging Session where everyone to share their ideas and brainstorming unsolved questions of SAP related courses. Professors from Donghua University and Shanghai Second Polytechnic University raised many questions, and got very useful answers or tips. It was almost one hour late than the planned ending time since most of the professors were so enthusiastic about exchanging with Dr. Felix and other professors.
