MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India hosted their Annual IEEE Festival called Aavishkaar 2013 on 10,12 and 13 April 2013, where the UA team participated and got the opportunity to reach out to 2350 students and 10 professors out of a total footfall of approx. 4000+ students. The team had set up a booth to facilitate information exchange on SAP HANA and SAP University Alliances. A one page document with information on HANA was distributed to nearly 1800 students at the event through the help of 6 student volunteers. The SAP HANA banners were displayed at the University and their were visuals on SAP running at the Lecture halls during the breaks. On the spot quizzes on SAP HANA were conducted at the stall that was set up by the UA team and approx. 250 students and 10 Professors visited the UA booth.
So where are we going next? SAP University Alliances India is making its 8th stop at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore to participate at their annual technical festival called Aavishkaar 2013. Good friends at Wikipedia say that this festival was started in 2004 by the IEEE MSRIT student branch and had a participation of about 800 students across India to begin with (now that’s great). With tons of activities such as Project Exhibition, Paper Presentation, On-the-spot programming, Circuit designing & debugging, Kreatronics and Tech Quiz, Aavishkaar 2013 would surely be exciting and we are more than happy to be part of this festival.
The UA team will be present at the campus on 10, 12 and 13 April and the students can catch us for a 1:1 to talk about SAP, SAP HANA and our latest innovative technologies – not to forget we will be conducting an on the spot quiz for the visitors and there are many goodies to be won at the booth.
In fact the goodies can be won at the lecture session what we will conduct on 12th and 13th at the ESB Small Seminar Hall, where we will talk about SAP, SAP HANA, and our innovative technologies. R, Hariprasauth R from SAP Labs would be joining us to deliver the session.
