What makes a great SAP Champion?
- Top contributor: SAP Champions are top contributors to the SAP Community and ecosystem, serving as distinguished leaders and upholding community ideals and spirit. Traits include being a top influencer, leader, and organizer.
- Advocate: Advocates and representatives of SAP communities – whether through community.sap.com, related sites, social media, or in-person events.
- SAP Community member: Must be a member of SAP Community for a minimum of one full year with an active membership, a profile with a recognizable display name, and featuring a photo.
- Expert: Hands-on experts of an SAP product(s), service(s), and/or topic(s).
- Professional: The span of membership must be marked with positive behaviour and adherence to the community rules of engagement. The member's interactions with others must always be polite, friendly, and supportive; this extends to social media and both virtual and in-person events.
- Active in SAP Community: Have a robust reputation across SAP Community (and on the rank ladder), including active participation in SAP Community groups (including location groups), questions and answers, blog posts and comments, and events.
- Events-driven: Due to our renewed focus on events, in the previous one-year period, the member should have participated in several events including both online and in-person – this includes hosting/speaking/attending.
- Well-connected: Have a strong network and reputation across external sites/channels – for example, LinkedIn.
- Eligibility: Anyone not employed by an SAP competitor is eligible for the SAP Champions program. SAP Champions, however, may not be a member of an existing influencer program (e.g., SAP Mentors) or a special council dedicated to community strategy or activity.
