I go to IQ03 and enter a serial number and hit enter. Then, I go to various on the IS data tab and select Measured Press.
When I changed the value to another based on the list of values and clicked save.
I see the MESSDRCK data updated on EGERS, but not on EZUZ. The MESSDRCK value on EZUZ retained the old value.
Anyone know why EZUZ is not updated please?
No responses so far, I see SAP Function module - ISU_DB_EZUZ_UPDATE updates the messdrck value on EZUZ in SAP?
However, when I go to where-used list in SE37, I get nothing returned. SAP returns, "Function Module ISU_DB_EZUZ_UPDATE not found in selected search area"

Dear James,
I think you meant IQ02 to change the equipment. EZUZ table is populated when the device is installed, so even if you change it on the equipment level, the values remain on register level. You have to use transaction EG42 to change MESSDRCK for already installed device.
Hope this helps,

I agree you can update the value via EG42, but you can also update it via IQ02. Correct, change mode is IQ02. I went to it via IQ03, display mode, and clicked change. Nonetheless, I updated the value directly here and most of our back office people do. See screen shot. It does not update the value on EZUZ. The ISU_O_DEVICEMOD_ACTION FM has an include, LEG42F11, that checks for the messdrck values for EGERS against EZUZ and a program we use that calls it is failing. Why isn't EZUZ updated when you change the value via IQ02?
I also see that the UMBAUDAT - modification date is not getting updated via IQ02 as it is with EG42.

Dear James,
Your changes on equipment level are not reflected directly to installed devices. This is a general rule for most of data that equipments hold. If you change it via IQ02 and remove the device and then install it to the same or another installation, you will see that EZUZ has new MESSDRCK values for the new installation's registers. UMBAUDAT is relevant for EG42 updates.
EG42 seems the only feasible solution here.
