What is the need of ISU FM in zprogram ??

Hi All,

I would like to know why and in which situation we will be going for customized program with the required FM as we already have standard tcode to do that functionality.

I have seen in one thread where they are trying to change device register group in device modification programaticaly.But we have standard tcode EG42 to do that...

You will look for a customized solution when the standard doesn't fit your requirements entirely or you want to something else following it or there are too many to do it manually or you are interfacing with an external system that will change some data in ISU and still I may have missed some other reasons:).
