Variant QUANT10: Add two quantity

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I am using variant program QUANT10 (Add Two Quantities) where I am passing the below input.

Input1 (quantity) = 1000 – (negative value)

Input 2 (quantity) = 500 (Positive value)

Ideally result should be ( - 1000 + 500) = -500 (negative quantity)

But I am getting 500 which is possive. Any possibility to make it negative as I want the actual result.

Regards,

Rudra

Hi Rudra,

It is possible to calculate a negative consumtion with variant program QUANTI10.
I have tested such a case out in one of our internal test systems and here I got a negative quantitiy and when I bill it with QUANTI01 also the amount is negative.
Where do you see that he result of QUANTI10 it is not negative? Variant QUANTI10 itself only writes Info lines about the input operands and not about the output operand (result).
