Hi,

Can someone elaborate the meaning of the above two fields we see in Portions.

Currently we just have the below assumption.

Alloc. Date for billing:

  • Any bill that is generated against a scheduled record using this portion, will be considered a bill for this date.
  • Should be in Past (2 months without warning, over 2 months with warning)

Example:

  • On the portion, If End billing period = 21.01.2000 & Allocation date = 21.12.1999
  • If the scheduled record is for date 21.01.2001 (End billing period)
  • The bill will be considered to be a bill for 21.12.2000

Scheduled Billing Date:

  • Date from which any installation using this portion can be billed.
  • If there is a gap of 30 days between End billing period and Scheduled billing date, the schedule records will reflect the same.

Example:

  • On the portion, If End billing period = 21.01.2000 & Scheduled billing date = 25.01.2000
  • If schedule record is for end billing period 21.01.2001
  • Billing for 21.01.2001 cannot be done till 25.01.2001

Thanks,

Joshua.
