Updating Deferral Date in FPY1

HI Experts,

I have a requirement to put the open line items to Payment List exception and also update the Deferral date on them based on certain business rules in FPY1 run. I tried to look for events but I could not find any event for the same. Please share your views on the requirement.

Hi Gaurav,

There are events available for placing the Open Items into the Payment exceptions list during the FPY1 execution.

However, once the items are in the exception list, there is no process in FPY1 which gets triggered for the exceptions list; the thing that you are looking for; to set a deferral date against the items.

You can use events 610/655 for rejecting open items from getting paid.

However, for setting the deferral date, you need to build a custom program to be executed after the FPY1 batch is complete.
