Hi all,

I would like to know how works the suppression indicator in the EABLG table, indeed I don't understand why on some internal ID for meter reading document there is this suppression flag and on others not

Thank you for your answer and your explications

Hi Amelie,

the suppression indicator works from various ways -

1. In the SPRO you can see you have given priority to different meter reading reasons (like periodic, final etc etc)

So this is because if in the same day (or in the tolerance days) we get reading because of two reasons (like final & periodic) now which one to consider for billing, so for that system suppresses the billing order/read for the low priority reason.

2. in the EL28 TCODE also you will see "suppress" button on the top from there also you can suppress any meter reading manually.

Hi,

Thank you so much for your answer I understand better but I would like to ask you an another question to undesrtand completely my case.

I explain you my example :

The 24th June I have a Interim Meter Reading Without Billing (09) and the 30th June I have a Final meter reading at move-in/out (03). So I suppose that I am in the situation 1 because in SPRO : reason 03 is priority compared to reason 09.

In EABLG my MR with a reason 09 is suppressed but included to the billing. Indeed in my bill I have the results of MR reading (reason 09 + 03). It is a standard behaviour of SAP to take the result of a MR with a reason 09 and suppress it after ?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Best Regards,

Amélie

Amelie:

suppression is only valid when the read order might trigger a bill. an 09 reading will never trigger billing so it is never suppressed. all reads in the billing period are used for the billing, so the 09 read is incorporated in the billing.

regards,

bill.
