Hi,
While creating entries in EK02 we are getting below error:-
"The system was unable to locate CO data for CO account assignment key XXXX". We are using profit center and segment reporting " and have maintained the necessary settings in "Define CO Account Assignment Keys" against company code , segment and profit center and also maintained cost element settings.
Any solution to resolve this error.
Thanks and Regards
Kumar

Hi Kumar,
You can double check below two configurations apart from Define CO account assignment Keys.
1. Check the cost element for GL account (from FS00) that you have maintained in EK02.
2. Check whether cost center has that company code (in Ek02) eligible in master data level.
Either of these two would fix it.
Thanks

Hi Kumar,
Below are the configurations required in this regard.
1. maintain GL account and const element - FS00. You can check whether the GL maintained as P/L GL.
2. maintain the cost centre - KS01/02/03. Please verify all the details whether or not have been maintained correctly.
3. maintain EK01 (if required).
4. maintain EK02 - please double check whetheryou have CO account assignment 'X' in there.
5. maintain CO account assignemnt key in SPRO - Check whether correct cost centre is maintained against correct CoCd.
This would suffice.
Please let me know if you're stil facing the issue.
Thanks

Hi Bodhisattwa ,
Thanks for the reply. But all these settings has already been made. Our observation is like that when in Co assignment when we are mapping cost center or profit center with company code and segment then only it is giving error if we map cost center against company code only then things are fine.
Thanks and Regards
Kumar

Hi Kumar,
Can you check the posting area 0300 and see if the segment is maintained against the company code or not for which you are trying to maintain the EK02 configuration.
Thanks,
Amlan

Hi Kumar,
The error that you are getting is triggered from the standard FM FKK_CODATA_DETERMINE.
I would recommend you to put a debug this FM to find out the root cause of the error.
Hope it helps...
Thanks,
Amlan
