Unable to create billing in EASIBI with EDM profile

Hi Gurus,

Unable to create billing document for a installation having dual Register of which one register is assigned with EDM Profile.

Error ;

Time 18:30:00 is not a suitable start time for an interval period

Not Sure why this Error is encountered.

Hi Neha,

Unfortunately there is nothing to see in the screen shot.
Technical name of error message is FASTEDM021, isn't it?

Please have a look into the long text of error message where you can find the explanation why it is raised:

Time is not a valid start time for the description of a profile value for a profile with Interval lenght ID.
Example: For 15 minute profiles, the intervals start at 00:00:00, 00:15:00 and so on, up to and including 23:45:00.
This error can occur if you change the allocation of the profile to the register to a time that does not match the pattern of the interval length.

And also the solution is provided:
Correct the profile allocation.

So may be you are using profiles with intervall lenght 60 min. Then the profile allocation need to start to a full hour.

Just mention the start time as 00:00:00 right from the beginning of the day while assigning the profile in tcode EEDM08. Check the validity when you defined it during creation in tcode EEDM06.

Sorry for late response. The error was resolved by maintaining common time zone in installation as well as in EDM Profile.

Hi Neha,

please check "time zone" in profile and "time zone" in installation, I think its different. and profile values are missing for the deviation time.

So -

1. Either you can put the profile values for that time.

Or

2. If time zone needs to be same ..make the time zone same at both the object.
