Hello all,
I work for en electricity company in Denmark - we have the industry solution for utillities (is-u).
Does anybody know if it is possible to transport "selected" billing master data instead of everything at once?
When transporting billing master data I use transaction EQ82 as I'm not prompted for a transport request when changing the individual master data. This transaction calls the report REA_BILL_MASTER_DATA_TRANSPORT that includes almost ALL of the billing master data tables with ALL of their entries.
This is normally very practical, but right now we are in the middle of a long development project which includes this billing customizing and we are NOT ready to go-live. But now we need to make some other changes in the billling master data and to transport this to production.
Does anyone please know if there is a way to solve this?
Best regards,
Dorte Hansen

Hello Dorte,
As of SAP Utilities Release 4.72, you can use the reports Selective Rate Transport - Download Tcode-EA_DOWNLOAD(program REA_RTRANS_DOWNLOAD_MUSTER) and Selective Rate Transport - Upload Tcode- EA_UPLOAD
(REA_RTRANS_UPLOAD) to transport selected billing master data in a local file between different
systems or clients.
Did you consider using this?

Sai

Dear Sai,
thank you very much - it was very helpful. We haven't had time yet to try it out but it looks very promising! I'm sure we can use this.

Dorte:
If this is a significant requirement, then you might engage SAP custom development. I believe that a solution for this was built for a US customer, but is not part of the standard ISU solution. and is now part of the standard solution, as mentioned by Sai.
regards,
bill.

Dear Bill,
thanks for your answer I'm not quite sure what you mean though. Does it mean, that now there is a user exit (or something like that) which we can use to adapt the transportation of billing master data to our requirements?
in addition to the TC EA_DOWNLOAD / UPLOAD..
