Hi Experts,

I want to know in what cases we will get the error "Too many meter reading results on one day".

one of the installation has got the three meter reading results on one day with different meter reading reasons 06,18,13.

While entering those meter reasdings into system, there was no problem but while trying to bill this account ,we are facing this error.

Thanks in advance.

Sundar

Hi,

This is because you might have got different MRO generated for same installation, like

06           Meter reading at move-in

18           Reconnection meter reading

13           Meter reading on disconnection

You can have the meter reading on same day for different  MR reasons, but billing can do only for one reason.

For this you have do priority settings.

SAP Utilities—IMG---Device Management--Meter Reading--Meter Reading Order--Order Creation--Define Priority of Meter Reading Reasons for Meter Reading Interval Check.

Example

MR reason  Description                          Priority   Always create ord.
01           Periodic reading                          3
02           Interim reading with billing            4
03           Final reading (move-out)               2           X

Depends upon the priority it will pick the MR order.

I think this will help you.

Hi Sundar,

This is because you might have got different MRO generated for same installation, like interin , Periodic and others.

To avoid this you can set priority of a Meter Reading Order , so that the top priority order is processed.

The setting can eb done on the below SPRO path.

SAP Utilities-->Device Management-->Meter Reading-->Meter Reading Order-->Order Creation-->Define Priority of Meter Reading Reasons for Meter Reading Interval Check

Hope this helps you out.

Regards

Sachin
