We have the below requirement:
- For our half hourly meter data stored in MDMS (non SAP) system we would like to export this meter data on a monthly basis in custom tables in SAP IS-U for accruals purpose.
- Then perform the time of use on this meter data to get peak, off peak, shoulder and demand splits.
- Use this time series and split meter data for accrual purpose. Accruals is required to be run prior to month end and hence we may not have complete meter data in MDMS system. In this case we would apply simple estimation logic like perform average daily usage and then perform the time of use calculation.
My question is:
1) Has anyone implemented a solution before where the time series - half hour meter data is stored in custom tables in SAP IS-U and
2) Time of Use meter data split is then performed by implementing a custom solution in SAP IS-U by re-using some of the SAP standard RTP/TOU FMs.
Can you please provide some insight to how this can be done or was done in your project?
Restrictions:
We cannot activate EDM in our project since as mentioned we have external MDMS system as well as due to our project landscape and scope.
