Technically Installed and Billing Installed

Hello Experts,

Need to understand the difference between Devices that are Technically Installed and Billing Installed.

How would I know if a particular device is Technically Installed or Not and the same device is Billing Installed or Not

Appreciate your help.

Hi Pratap,

During technical installation, device is physically installed at the device location but it is not linked to installation.

During billing related installation, device is linked to installation which has billing details like MRU, rate category,rate types.

if you go to t code IQ03 to display a device, and go to tab master data. You will see a premise there, then the device is billing installed and if you see only device location and connection object, then device is only technically installed.
