Suppression of billing - Meter read Interval, Suppression of Orders, MRO Priority

Hi,

I have a few questions, regarding MRO creation/suppression and the Meter read interval.

We have the below situation in our system.

Our SPRO configurations for 'Priority of Meter reading reasons for Interval Check' is as below

Read Type Priority Create Order

Periodic Meter Reading 3

Move-out reading 2 X

I have an installation using MRU1, which is a quarterly billed and read installation.

The read dates are 31/01, 30/04, 31/07 & 31/10. The 'Meter Reading Interval' is 0.

We have an installation with a move-out on 01.11.2016. We are trying to create a periodic meter read order on 31.10.2016. But the system is not allowing us. We get the error 'No meter reading for device xxxxx register xxx due to meter reading interval'.

I thought the system will not allow this only when a non-zero (let's say this is a number 'n') 'Meter Readig Interval' is specified and if we are trying to enter a periodic read/order 'n' days before the move-out read. This is my main question. Can anyone please let me know how this is supposed to work. And correct my understanding of this.

We also tried setting the 'Create Order' flag for 'Periodic Meter Reading' in the aforementioned SPRO configuration. In which case, EL01 does allow us to create a MRO (though billing is suppressed) we still get two different messages, "Interval Deadline for device xxxx register xxx" and then "Billing of Installation xxxxx will be suppressed".

In short, why is SAP not allowing us to create MRO even when the period read order we are trying to create is not within the interval (0 days).

Any input will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Joooooooosh.
