Software requirements for utility environment

I am new to SAP and I am planning to setup a training environment for Utilities. Any idea what are the minimum software configuration required? I need to convey this information to the support team so they can install and configure.

Hi,

If you have your SAP server installation in your client landscap then all you need a SAP GUI installations on the training workstation (assuming your training systems are networked to required servers, if not get the ports opened). Latest in the market is 7.1 version.

Hi,

Actually, the issue is I need to determine the server installation requirements. I am interested in specific modules and sub-modules to install for electricity utilities.

Hi:

As u know , ISU has been installed above the R/3 just as a component. So if you are using ISU its mean you have SAP R/3 too. for the rest of requirements, you should keep in touch of Basis guy or SAP AG directly.
