Hello colleagues,
I'm trying to do a mass change to a list Service Notification via PM/CS Transaction code IW28, but the "Carry out a mass change" menu choice is greyed out.
I tried to search for existing posts, but haven't found an answer.
Perhaps I'm missing something - is it some configuration that allows/dis-allows mass changes to Notifications?
Thanks in advance.

Ivor Martin

Hi Ivor,
Check SAP KBA 1820513
There can be possible two reasons-
(a) Enterprise Extension hasn't been activated.
(b) No proper authorization...
For the above
(a) Go to T. code SFW5
(b)Activate the EA-PLM extension
(c) Ensure that your user ID has the mass change authority object "I_MASS" with ID "IMASS" and value "OR" is checked.
Thanks,
Amlan

Hi Amlan,
By "KBA", do you mean I can search for an SAP OSS Note by number (1820513)?
I checked the Tcode SFW5, and EA-PLM is currently de-activated.
However, there's a symbol beside it that says "possible Pre-requisites exist", and to check the related documentation. But there's no documentation link associated with EA-PLM.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks and regards,
Ivor

Hi Ivor,
SAP KBA (Knowledge Base Article) means the SAP OSS note number, which in this case is 1820513
I would suggest you to show the SAP KBA to your BASIS person and then ask him\her to activate the EA-PLM BFS through SFW5. If there are any pre-requisites assigned to the activation, then they would be able to help you out.
Thanks,
Amlan
