Hi,

Please tell me how can we attach a variant to a role.

I have to create a variant in which i have to make some column as invisible.

I have to give this variant to some users only.

and we have to create a new ztcode in which we want functionality that their senior should be able to release that users who has been assigned that role.

Can we do this?

Please suggest me.

Dear Nags,

In my requirement,if  the users who has been assigned the variant want to be released from that variant.

some different user who is not having that variant access should be able to release that users.

Meaning some users should be able to release that user for the same date only.

for this can we create some ztcode in that tcode can we map the variant according to users.

Hi,

The variant created can be marked as logon-Default /user specific, there is a Tick option for the same, please check the variant creation screen while saving the variant.
