Schedule meter read date picked up for billing instead of actual MR date

Scheduled MR Date is getting picked up for billing rather than Actual MR date ,example my SMRD is 9/5/2019 and i entered read today(Actual MR Date ) but for billing its taking SMRD date only which shouldn't happen, then where i can pin point the issue ?
