Hi,
I've been learning SAP SD from the past few months and a few advised me to learn SAP Utilities too. Can any one clarify me some of my basic doubts.
1. Does SAP utilities have any module related to Sales and Distribution?
2. Is it going to be easy if I've previous SAP SD knowledge?
3. Currently I've ecc6.0 in my system. Can I practice IS-U on the same?
Regards
Krishna..

Hi Krishna,
Answers:-
1) There is no module as like as SAP SD/processes, but yes SAP SD is involved to an extent in couple of processes
2) Don't compare R/3 and SAP ISU- both are totally different, easiness dependes on how you grasp it and visualise the ISu process.
3) You can't practice IS-U unless it is activated.
Hope this answers all of your queries.
Regards
Sachin

Hi Krishna,
If you know SAP-SD/MM/PM it is easy to learn SAP-ISU.
In SAP-IS U there are Modules like Billing & Invoicing,Device Management,FICA.
For SAP-SD,U can learn SAP-IS U Billing & Invoicing.
For SAP-MM ,SAP-IS U Device Management.
More over only consumption comes from SAP-IS U.
Non energy charges (cable, service etc) are comes from SAP-SD.
There are more similarities for this module.

Nags
