IDE supports the cross-company exchange of settlement data based on international standards , manages data transfer between retailers, distributors, and independent service operators with special regard to the requirements of deregulated markets.
At the communication level events triggers the data exchange process which has the logic for inbound and outbound processes. Data exchange tasks are the result of data exchange process. Communication Event Function Module determines data exchange task data such as Data exchange Basic Process based on the file type, Sender/Receiver service providers, Point of Delivery. Communication Processing Function module is triggered dynamically and is responsible for creation of IDoc format (control and data).
IDE Configuration :
Basic process (client independent) - Define the underlying business process
Data exchange process (client dependent) - Implemented based on basic process per customer
Attach the data exchange process to the service provider.
