SAP IS-U / UCES

Hi,

We would like to implement the SAP Utility Customer E-Services (UCES) in our SAP NW 7.4. But I can't seem like get the detailed documentation such as the architecture, design, per-requisites, what function is available, how to implement the SAP UCES.

Kindly share if have any information in SAP.

Hi,

maybe you like to take a look at this video clip, which i prepared ages ago. I did show all screens and functionalities, which UCES did had for version 6.02

This shows almost vanillia UCES beside some basic style changes and not one of our more advanced implementation, so that you should have a good insight of what you get out of the box.

We had unfortunately not time to do the same for our more advanced and recent projects to show what would be possible today e.g. Content Management, responsive Layouts, HTML5, OData, etc.

You need UCES 6.35 which is build for 7.3x + environments. Beside the ERP / IS-U system, you won't need anything else. The documentation and the steps required haven't changed, so you will be fine using the documentation you find today.

There is much documentation available on the service marketplace  Additionally you should investigate instead of UCES.
