SAP BPEM - Issue in Assigning Number range number for Business processes

Hi All

Pre-requisite:

Created number ranges for EMMA jobs and EMMA cases with number range number as 01 and 02.

During activation of business process in BPEM (Node: Activate Business Processes for Enhanced Message Management), I am trying to assign number ranges number(02) to a particular business process and tried saving it.  

While saving the config, it it throwing an error message as shown here,

We are doing the changes in client 100 only as mentioned in  the error. Can anyone please let me know if i am missing any configuration .

Note: Its allowing me when number ranges number is assigning to particular business process areas.

Hi All,

The issue was resolved.I am not sure why SAP has designed like this.But it worked with the following approach

The number ranges should not be defined before assigning the number range numbers to the business processes.

1) First activate the business processes and assign the number range numbers to the business processes

2) Then, create number ranges for the number range numbers

This is happening only for business process activation, but it is working finefor business process areas activation.

Note: Business processes activation for BPEM node in SAP will come into picture after activating switch ISU_CA_2.
