Return lot in ECC6

After closing and successfully posting a return lot, the status becomes Postings Made (Status = 5). After that, I performed a reversal in one of the items of the return lot. That reversal opened again the return lot because the status is now Postings incomplete (Status = 3) and available for post-processing via transaction code FP09.

Is this new in ECC6? I don't remember this happening in 46C. Is there a way to prevent the return lot from having Status = 3 after reversing an item?

Hi Blumtain,

This is a new functionality in ECC 6. It was not available for the Old 4.6 version.

Following are the status available

1 Returns can no longer be changed

2 Postings scheduled

3 Postings incomplete

4 Postings made, reworking required

5 Postings made

6 Automatic creation terminated

9 Lot archived

When you perform the reversal, it reverse the posted document and not the return lor. It again become available for posting.
