A garbage contract & installation needs to be deleted from the account. Deleting 2 years of invoices and then having to rebill for storm water, water and sewer would cause reconciliation issues because these invoices are from prior years.
Customer should never have had a garbage installation moved in. How can this be done without (reversing 2 years of invoicing) without affecting revenue distribution?
I had suggested just moving out garbage, note the account and issue the customer a manual bill. Then someone stated that when you perform a move in on an address, ALL available installations associated with the premise come up whether the previous account’s installations are active or otherwise (closed and/or moved out)....Is this true?

Camille:
You cannot undo this if billing and contracts exist. reversal of all transactions is the only 'undo' method.
As to the follow-up issue, the installation can be excluded if you end the contract as move-out without move-in (normally used for demolition situation). You can also implement enhancements in the new contract process to exclude certain installations from being processed.
regards,
bill.

Thanks for your help William. I will implement option2 because the premise is not a demolition but we do want to move out that garbage installation for the current customer. Now what type of enhancement/configuration needs to be done to prevent a garbage installation from being moved in for future tenants? Would a flag for a deletion on the installation work? Would the enhancement be on the contract account # or the contract #?
