remove disconnected device

dears,

When i try to remove a disconnected device, system issues an error "

Device action not possible, since device or installation is disconnected"

it looks like a standard behavior from the system. but the case we have is that when a meter is disconnected (for any reason) we needed to remove the device.

is there anyway to do this while device is disconnected, and why we need to reconnect the device in order to be able to remove it

Hi,

It is possible to remove disconnected devices. This is controlled by a setting in the configuration.

Please check the following path:

SAP Utilities->Customer Service->Process Execution->Disconnection/Reconnection->Define Processing Variants for Disconnection Documents

Here please tick the check box 'WR' DevRemDespDisc. for your processing variant.

This will allow you to remove disconnected devices.
