Hello Migration consultants,
I have a requirement to create mass rate facts (rate fact groups), can it be possible to do so through EMIGALL using some custom developed object ?
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Davi

Hi Davi.
Do you need to create rate fact group, or you need to enter the values?

Hi Marko,
Thanks for replying.
Actually the requirement is to create the rate fact groups and update them with the values also.
We have a property tax implementation, and the Billing/Property Tax functional team has to maintain rates and rate fact groups of a very "good volume".
Just for an example:
There would be approximate 16 rates and 34 rate fact groups mapped with tax groups. And further each rate is having 34 fact groups, so the count would be around 16*34 i.e. 550 approx.
It's possible to do manually but it will take lot of time to create almost 550 rate facts.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Davi

Hi Davi.
I havent run into such request yet, so I think I wont be of much help. However, I did several scenarios of importing facts, once the groups were created on the system.
What you could also do is check if there is a BAPI which you could use for your own import program, since you really have quite a number of fact groups to enter.

Davi:
There is no migration object for this - we would expect that to be configured manually. I would expect it to take longer to write logic to do this than to just enter them manually.
Maybe your rate design should be changed so that you do not need to maintain so many?
