Rate determination is inconsistent

Hi All,

In EG31 transaction, when i try to do F4 for fact group field i get the error "Rate determination is inconsistent". I have mainatined all the billing types (i.e, manual, final, consumption & budget billing) & also finished the account determination for all. I have also checked the consistency of the transactions. Inspite of it I am not able to see the fact groups in this transaction.

Hi Laxmi,

The errror you are getting is at the time of installing the Device.

Firstly, Check if the rate category you are using have a rate determination defined for the Rate type you are using in EG31.

If it exists, also check the date upto which the rate determination is valid, it must exist fall beyond you installation activity date.

If above condition matches,Pls Check the Rate type on you are using while installing the device, Is the rate type you are using have a rate determination for register permissible rate?

- Check this in EA87(or table ERTFND) by placing your rate category and rate type, check the rates there if any register permissible rate is present.

you can check this by clicking on each rate and see if in Rate Header the Radiobutton "reg. permiss." is selected.

If no rate has this radiobutton checked, you must change your rate type and then go for Rate facts group.

Pls let me know, if the issue still exists.
