Rate cat - Dynamic period control + Advance billing

Hi Billing Experts,

As we all know that DPC (Dynamic period Control) settings one cannot use along with “Period End billing” or “Backbilling” or with “Advance billing”

Now if business requirement is to bill a customer on estimated Consumption (If meter reading are not came for any particular month - Estimate in billing) and also they have a line item which they wants to charge in advance.

So how one can achieve DPC schema with advance billing features

or

DPC schema with Period end billing

Manoj,

At the schema level there are 2 separate fields - A field to indicate advance billing and another to indicate DPC.

In addition there are other master data considerations that need to be made such Rate cat should indicate that its advance, Schema should indicate its DPC, DPC rate in the schema to name a few.

Let me know if you face any issue while trying to implement it. Its been a while since I implemented but will try to help none the less.
