"Time Category" tab in Price data.

Hi,

I could find a tab "Time Category" having fields Time basis, day, month etc in the Price data (EA91).

Can anyone explain me the purpose of this, with an example ?

To define a Quantity based price, base values are required for time basis or time category.

the corresponding calculations are performed in the system by using these base values.

Price per 1 Kw per 12 months

price per 1cbm per 365 days.

Could you please explain more in detail.

We mention the date range, Qty base, price value in the historty tab. Then, why do we need this time basis to mention the number of days or months for which this price will be considered.

it would help me if you could explain more on your above said example "Price per 1 Kw per 12 months and

price per 1cbm per 365 days".
