Hi Experts,

Can you please explain about the price class in the Device category.What is the main purpose.Where it reflects.

If you have any document,can u please share.

Hi Ravichand,

price class generally assigned at Device category level , it is for reporting purpose.

the same is assigned at the time of Device Installation.In de-regulated market this field used for network tarirrif code mapping purpose.

The combination of Price Class and Price level is used for billing of Device level charges like Meter Rent etc. At the time of Device Full Installation in EG31, these information must be provided in order to bill Meter Rent etc.
