Hi,

While creating a movein is the field PORTION in the database table EVER getting updated?

If yes then in what all scenarios?

I have been creating contracts but in none of the scenario this field is getting populated. Do we need to do some configuration changes for the same.

Thanks

Himansu Roy

Hello,

This is an Alternative Portion field.

This is a specific case .If u want to override the MRU generated dates ,then by selecting this field manually u can override the MRU dates.

U can bill that contract with manually given portion dates.

Hi,

PORTION in EVER table is actually alternative portion, used to over ride the portion assigned to MRU, which is further assigned to the installation for which the contact is created. MRU and Portion are used for meter reading schedules (Ex: MRU = Bombay and portion = Mulund). However if you want to over the meter reading schedule(also billing) for a contract then you can populate this PORTION field in EVER table.

I think there is isn't any configuration for this and it has to be populated manually.

Any suggested method using which I can update the alternate portion field in the EVER table while I am doing movein.

Unfortunately at top of my head I dont know recollect enhancement.(there is enhacement to set default values on contract, just search). However if you already have some development post move process than you can simply implment in their.
