Origin of estimation Field in REABLD

Hi Experts ,

I am trying to enter meter result for a device in EL28.

When I click on estimate button , I get information message EL185 that estimation could not determine valid MR.

Also, If we enter very high MR so that it is implausible , the validations are not performed because expected consumption is not determined.

In that case it gives message independent validations are not possible - EL 348.

Again the cause is expected consumption is not determined.

I checked in debugging , there I found that in the initail screen of EL28 , when we enter device/installation , the REABLD-ORIGIN_ESTIM value gets filled with value 06 .

That is , estimations are not possible.

Domain - ORIGIN_ESTIM.

Does anybody know why this field gets 06 ?

What are possible reasons ? Can you explain it functionally ?

Hello Nachiket,

Check the below possibility.

You are doing EL28 for a certain MR date, check if any previous MR date (may be a Move-in MR) is still pending for MR or not.

If such a case then please enter MR for the previous dates and then next.

I checked but there is no previous pending MR.

There was device replacement done on that installation.

Hi Nachiket,

Generally the error generated when the previous MR is abnormal.

Can you once have a check on your Validations in SPRO.

You mentioned there was device change, please check if any data inconsistecy is still remaining there.

Hi Nachiket,

Try EL27 to check if there is any blocked readings. If not, try EL30 to estimate the MR.
