Hi all,
We have a requirement in our business to perform one time or Adhoc billing for NON-ENERGY charges to particular customers. We need the solution in ISU and the option of SD billing is ruled out.
Below is the scenario:
A customer with ISU contract but should be billed only once or on adhoc basis.
In the existing system , we already have these customers and contracts but they are being billed every month or yearly ( periodic billing) . But we need Adhoc billing.
Regards,
Sai

Hi,
Generally Interim billing corresponds to Adhoc billing in ISU. Have you tried that one?

Hi Sai,
For interim billing you do not need any additional configuration. You can enter meter reading via EL28 and bill that subsequently.
Since you have told that you want to bill non-energy charges in IS-U, are there any contract in IS-U for billing the non-energy charges? You have said that in the existing system you have these customers with active contract, are those contract for energy billing or non-energy billing?
If those contract are for non-energy billing, you can use the same contract for interim billing also.
Thanks,
Nirmalya
