Hi Experts,

Can someone explain the concept of one-time contract accounts in FI-CA ? Is it similar to one-time customer in FI-AR ?What are the configuration settings associated with one-time contract accounts ?

Hi Sundareswaran,

To make a contract account one time contract account you need to make the settings in

SPRO>FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING > CONTRACT AR AP > BASIC FUNCTIONS > CONTRACT ACCOUNTS > NUMBER RANGES AND CONTRACT ACCOUNT CATEGORIES > CONFIGURE CONTRACT ACCOUTN CATEGORIES AND ASSIGN NUMBER RANGES.

If a contract account category is flagged as being a one-time account , you can nevertheless maintain several business partners as the account holder with a contract account.
