No AMI communication data available

Hi,

While implementation of DM we encounter the below issues. Any suggestions for the issues will be appreciated.

1. While clicking the option AMI Monitoring option under IQ03 after creation of meter , error " No AMI communication data available" pops up. configuration for  AMI data was defined (i.e . AMS and AMCG). Even "eamimoni-> Messages" also not showing any messages. Did we miss any configuration to get data to be populated?

2. While creating register  the xml register create_out is not having registergroupID which is mandatory field for MDUS system. We are able to see Register group fields when selecting the xml under SPROXY. Is any configuration change will be required to have that field to be under generated xml?

Some of the blogs suggested to get this field under the xml , Inventory no field under IQ03 to be filled . Is it true?

Please suggest any configuration changes to be required for the above two cases

Thanks,

Aman

Hi Aman,

regarding issue 2 please check SAP note "1896357 - Adding register group to Enterprise Services" with solution:

"...

To activate the new node, go to Customizing and activate the BAdI ISU_AMI_DEV_MDE_RG in the enhancement spot ISU_AMI_DEVICE_MDE (path: Industry Solution for Utilities -> Tools -> System Modifications -> Business Add-Ins -> BAdIs for Advanced Metering Infrastructure -> Activate Register Group as Attribute in Services) by using or copying the relevant BAdI implementation."

Best regards

Harald
