Meter reading result for a move-in in the future on an empty premise through CRM

Hi, I would like to know if someone encountered the following problem and how it was resolved. When doing a move-in in the future on an empty premise (without a valid contract) through CRM, a meter reading result with a MR type 06 is automatically derived. There is some config relating to meter readings as well as move-in, but I didn’t anything that prevents the meter reading order from being valued with a meter reading result. When doing the same move-in in ECC, through transaction EC50C, we have the additional option to reinitialize the meter reading result ending up with a meter reading order only which is what we are looking for ultimately. But this option doesn’t seem to be available when the move-in done through CRM uses the MDG. Any ideas? Regards Daniel

HI Daniel, behaviour in CRM with contract management before EHP3 release was to create meter reading with interim without billing (mr reason 9). There was a customizing that could influence that behaviour. As of EHP3, MR reason in CRM via contract management gets created with MR = 06 when the contract replicates successfully to ECC. If you don't like the behaviour, you could create ticket or do custom enhancement? Why do you need order instead of real MR?

Hi Yevgen,

Thank you for your reply. For a move-in as of today or in the past a MR result is what we need, but in this case, it is a move-in in the future and a lot can happen between now and the move-in date as far as the MR result is concerned.

I hope that these expanations are clear enough.

Regards

Daniel
