Hi All,

While doing a Meter Read estimation its not calculating the consumption considering the Base Period Category marked as: Period of Previous Year.

Please refer to the screen shots for better understanding.

Pic 1 shows the Base period marked at the installation.

Pic2 shows the previous Meter reads.

Pic 3: Estimation at EL28 . Here the original period of consumption in forecast data section should be of 10/10/2015. This makes the expected consumption zero & independent validation fails. This issue is causing multiple work orders getting triggered for validation failure.

FYI this is happening for commercial type installations only. Let me know what can be the probable cause of this?

there doesn't appear to be reading history relevant as at 10/10/2015. there are various reasons that historical consumption for a device wont be taken into account

"Use Entire Meter Reading History for Extrapolation" is not set in SPRO -> SAP Utilities -> Device Management -> Meter Reading -> Basic Settings -> Define Technical Control Parameters for Meter Reading Data Processing.

there is a device modification that breaks the logical register over the base period

there is a period consumption applied in EL56 for the site.

need more details.

From your picture two it looks like you have only MR starting with 08/08/2016. If there are no MR found in a period for the previos year, the estimation switches to the previos period and try to find something there.

Based on your screenshots, you dont seem to have MR history back in 2015. System is trying to use periodic consumption for estimation. Did you check if periodic consumption for this device is maintained correctly?
