Merging two technical objects

Two technical objects, in this case connection objects, are identical in their properties. To delete one I thought archiving is the way to go. But I would like to know if there are other possibilities to get rid of the duplicate?

As a side-note the CRM is the leading system so there may be options involving this system, too.

Archiving is correct.  You might also adjust the address properties.  Using CRM also means that you will need to delete the object via the standard program - search ECRM* DELETE* to find it.
