M3 to MMBTU conversion in ISU gas billing

Hi All,

I have a situation where I have meter readings in M3 and currently this is getting converted in SCM for billing purpose.

We need M3 to MMBTU conversion for billing these cases. I have done required configuration as mentioned below:

M3 is mapped in "Volume" type, whereas MMBTU is mapped as "Energy".

I also defined CV procedure, CV districts and maintained values for those periods. In CV procedure I have defined "Time ref for CV" as "Validity is one month". I also maintained Calorific values for billing, but it is showing error while entering meter read result as "Device 1 register 01: Not possible to convert MTU to M3.

Please suggest what could be possible reasons?

Hi Saurabh,

In the configuration of "Calorific Value Procedure", there is a "Special procedure" where you can config UOM before and after conversion with calorific value using the Reference calorific value. Same "After UOM" should also be used in register operand which is capturing the meter read.
