Lock symbol in Portion and MRU

Hi,

It is observed that there is a lock symbol displayed in the Portion and MRU. The screen field is EE15-SPERRE. It is displayed in the Production System only but not in development and testing systems.

One more observation is that if the Portion or MRU is used it is shown as locked and if it is not used it is shown as unlocked.

Can anyone please let know what is the significance of it?

It cannot be deleted if the lock symbol is present.

Thanks Daniel..One more question which remains is it is not available in all systems. As mentioned earlier it is displayed in the Production System only but not in development and testing systems. Is there any configuration for displaying and non-displaying the lock symbol?

Hi Vinodh,

Either It could possible  schedule record are not generated for that MRU and Portion or it was generated long ago is the reason it shows the lock symbol for MRU.

                Generate the schedule record in the Production system via  txn : EA 43 since you are getting it in Production only and your error will resolved

Basically if there are no schedule records, & its not assigned to any subordinate master data, it will not display the lock icon.
