Hi Priya,
Please check below link it has every detailed explanation.
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/9c/862f9c10df11d285250000e8200ef0/frameset.htm
The types of register relationshp are:-
Active/reactive relationship 01:-
The system establishes a relationship between the meter reading difference of the reactive register and the active register during validations.
Serial switching relationship 02:-
The total meter reading differences of secondary meters is subtracted from the meter reading difference of the primary meter during billing.
On-/off peak relationship 03:-
A relationship is established between the meter reading difference of the on-peak register and the meter reading difference of the off-peak register during validations.
Control relationship 04:-
The system compares the total meter reading differences of normal registers with the meter reading difference of the control register during validations.
Volume correction factor relationship 05:-
The volume correction factor for the register with operation code reg. passes on vol. corr. factor is allocated to the register with operation code reg. transfers vol. corr. factor.
If you want to use the volume correction factor relationship, you must select the special volume correction factor procedure reg. rel. VCF for the register with operation code reg. transfers vol. corr. factor.
Volume correction factor calculation relationship 06:-
Volume correction factor VCF is obtained using the formula: meter reading difference of standard volume meter, divided by the meter reading difference of operating volume meter.
In order to calculate the factor using the above formula, you must create a register relationship of type volume correction factor calculation. You must also select special volume correction factor procedure reg. rel. VCF for the operating volume meter.
Resetting register relationship 07:-
During validation, the system determines which resetting register is to count the resettings of a balancing register.
Pulse relationship 08:-
Specifies which register is controlled by pulses from another register.
Usage hour relationship 09:-
Specifies which register is used for calculating usage hours.
----------
General Conditions for Initial customising
- All devices affected by the register relationship must belong to a division valid for the register relationship type. The permitted number of operation codes is defined by upper and lower limits.
- You can only use operation codes permitted for the relationship type in Customizing.
- If you select the UM (Units of measurement must match) field, all registers in the relationship must have the same unit of measurement for meter reading.
- If you select the SA (Installations must match) field, all registers in the relationship must be installed for billing in the same installations.
There are also special conditions, which are available on SAP help.
I hope this helps you out.
Regards
Sachin

Hi Priya,
This function allows one to map two or more registers into a relationship. As a requirement the device should have undergone technical installation.
One can also define register relationship at the Register Group level.
There are many types of Register Relationships like.
1.Serial Switching Relationship
2.Primary Rate – Secondary rate Relationship
3.Control Relationship
There can be only one primary meter in a relationship.
There can be one or more than secondary meters in a relationship.
All secondary meters need to installed in the installation of the primary meters ( Billing Related installation).
Register Relationship can be created using transaction EG75.
In EG75, give primary installation details, enter.
Register relation type: serial switching.
Enter main register and secondary register.
I think this will help you.

Nags
