Invoice printing logic

Hi Experts,

As per the business requirement, we need to provide the bill in pdf format and this pdf will be used for printing the invoice. We have one more requirement, this invoice (bill) need to be displayed in WSS system, for this we need to create a custom function module in isu for this wss.

Our earlier team had decided to create only this custom function module and this FM will be used for WSS bill display and in print workbench also. Meaning all the logic is written in this FM only and the input parameter of this fm is OPBEL. Now so there is no functionality used of printworkbench structures to create the invoice pdf. It is looking same like as we are printing invoice through z program even though we will print from EA60.

Now I am thinking whether it would work fine or not as it is not yet tested in mass printing.

Please advise whether this solution will work out or need to use standard structure of print workbench.

Would be great for me as i am confused totally on this.

Hi Rudra,

This FM may not work at mass printing level. If you plan to only use OPBEL as input parameter & want to include MRU's how will you handle this?

Yes, we will be using it for mass printing. Could you please explain little more what issues we can face in mass printing.
