Hi SAP for Utilities community!
I am evaluating the development of a solution developed in a web technology (.Net or Java) that will need to integrate with SAP IS-U.
I am familiar with integration with the SAP ERP through BAPIs (using the SAP .Net or Java connector) or Web Services.available in SAP PI.
My question is - are the technical interfaces exposed by SAP IS-U the same as the SAP ERP? Meaning, would SAP IS-U also expose BAPIs just like the ones exposed by the SAP ERP? What about web services?
I basically want to understand if the "technicalities" of the integration are the same, even if the APIs differ.
Thank you for all you help!
Kind Regards,
Daniel Lourenço

And, finally, you can also take a look at offering of MCF OData mainly for self-service scenarios: Entities for OData Service Model in SAP ERP - SAP Multichannel Foundation for Utilities and Public S...
