Our objective is to link our ESRI GIS system with SAP.
In GIS we have following objects
Meters (each Service Point is related to one or more Meters)
We want to integrate these with SAP. I could identify the followign equivalent objects in SAP
Is the above mentioned mapping between SAP and GIS correct (especially for Service Point)?
In SAP Connection is created as an equipment.
How to relate this Connection to Connection Object and Devices?
We would also like to relate Connection to Substation Feeders (also equipment) for identifying customers connected to a feeder.

Hi Ashish,
We faced similar kind of scenario in our implementation , problem arises when we are talking about service point mapping between SAP and GIS.
Even though technically online documentation says service point should be mapped to connection in SAP then it will be tons of work needs to be done, because you need to maintain master data of connection(equipment) for 1000's miles of pipelien information.
One of the solutions we are looking in our implementation is mapping service point in GIS to device location is SAP rather than to connection.
So one service point can have multiple device locations and obviously device locations are assiged at the connection object level.
thanks,
