Installation access based assigned Authorization Group in the Installation

Hi,

Please guide how to restrict any Utility Installation from display to users which are created for a specific set of Rate Categories.

Is authorization group a right solution for this.

If yes, then how can i create it and use it?

Please guide.

Hi Mahavir,

Get in touch with the SAP security consultant in your project.It is their job to create and assign the authorization group and assign it to the users.

Thanks for your reply please.

But for example, there is a transaction code EASIBI for which system does not ask for any specific authorization object. In that case, how can we restrict users from using it if the user is not responsible for X Billing Class for which he is trying to create Bill/Invoice through EASIBI.

Please guide.
