How to "delete" contract account in Business Partner

Hi All,

I have a question about maintaining contract account and business partner.

I have a Business Partner, that connect to 2 Contract Account. And i want to "delete" the 2nd contract account, as it's not used anymore.I don't want any posting happen in those 2nd contract account. All the open item in those contract account already transfered to the other contract account.

So, anyone who understand this can help?

I found the "deletion flag" in CAA2, but i think it's only for archiving purpose. I mean, if we set the deletion flag, is the posting to those contract account will not possible?

Kindly need your help in advance.

Hello,

You can use transaction FPARV1 to delete Contract Account.

The other way is to, follow steps in transaction SARA.

1) Tcode- SARA and give object as FI_FICA.

2) Cselect your action as WRITE, now create a new variant by giving your CA as input and press F8e.

3) when the job finishes, goto SARA again and choose DELETE option.

4) If you click on Archive Selection, will get write job file reference. now select it ,here give start date,  parameters of spool and then F8.

Now your CA will be deleted from system. check once this process in dev client to ensure data safety.
