How to handle day light saving in EDM

Hi people,

I have a below query regarding SAP EDM:

We know that in EDM we use the profiles which is used for calculating consumptions.

There is half hourly profiles are available that means for every hour there are 2 profile values.so, for entire day for 24 hours there are 48 profile values.

I want to know in day light saving start and end there will be 46 and 50 profile values.

How to handle such situations?

I mean how i can make sure that during DST and after DST it can send the number of profiles correctly?

Is there any configuration is available?

Or how can i make sure during DST it send 46 and after DST it can send 50profile values??

Can anyone suggest this?

Hi,

If you have the correct timezone at profile header and Installation , it would be automatically be taken care of. when DST is active you would see the profile entries in place of the extra hour. The issue mainly arises from the MDM/MDUS system which sends the profile values as its on VVE process sometime rejects the entries. But I guess it's been corrected now. If you have custom code for import you would have to check with the timezone.

in customizing : SAP Netweaver -> General Settings -> Time zones

Try the process manually in SAP by using a DST time zone and check the profile values.
