How to do CTPT Replacement without Meter Removal

Hi Everyone,

While replacing any current transformer(which is grouped in a Device Group) with a combination transformer, if am getting an error message "Device Group is no longer consistent". Please guide why this error is coming? Please also guide me how can i rectify this problem?

Hi,

What i understood from your question is that you want to replace your CT with group of CT & PT.

But first of all the measurement type of that device is "SEMI INDIRECT" becasue it is initially connected with LCT.

But when you want to replcae it with group of CT & PT the meter measurement type should be "INDIRECT", since the measurement type is different so it will not be possible to replace with group of CT & PT.

Error message i don't know, but by any mean you cannot replace in current situation.
